About Us

Posted under Ramblings by adam

Voodoo Studios was established in 2007 as a place where 2.5 photographers could hang out. In 2008, we embarked on a journey through the land of film and have since competed in two timed filmmaking challenges in Houston and one National Film Challenge.

Member of the Moment:

Scott Harris

2010 is Scott’s rookie year with Voodoo Studios. If you can’t tell from the picture, he’s super-stoked about being involved in the 48 Hour Film Project. His talents include singing, dancing, towel-drying, and cracker-eating. Mr. Harris, who comes to us from the Buckeye State, has said that he loves absolutely everything about Houston, especially the beautiful weather.

Saurabh became a Voodoo Studios veteran in 2009 when he played the male lead in Ashram – our entry in the 2009 Houston, TX 48 Hour Film Project.

Saurabh enjoys reading and collecting Archie comics, singing Spanish karaoke, and running half-marathons without training for them. He looks forward to participating in future Voodoo Studios projects and riding an elephant one day. Be sure to drop him an email to saurabh [at] voodoostudios.net and tell him congratulations!
