Scripts

Posted under Ramblings by adam

We’re considering posting scripts here in the very near future. If nothing else, this will serve as a good place for potential volunteers to check up on our scripts to see if it’s something that you really want to get involved in. There’s a possibility that only partial scripts will get posted so that we can retain any top-secret plot ideas.

Here’s the rundown on some working titles:

  • Eschatology
    • The plot for this one is currently top secret. The title should tell you something.
  • Switchbox [excerpt]
    • In this tale, our hero Charlie is subjected to a rather strange job interview with a company called Kippschalter that does some work in non-traditional psychological testing.  Trish goes for a jog, Doug just wants to watch movies, Berrin tells lousy jokes, and Rose tells Charlie all about the east and west walls.
  • Seven Dollar Salvation [excerpt]
    • Are you going to Heaven? How do you know? Yeah, but, how do you really know? David can help you with that, and it’ll only cost you seven bucks.
  • Spectacularity
    • This is a love story about a man who has the very peculiar job of test-dating women for a local celebrity.
  • Man Woman Child
    • This is about a couple that have a very sick child. So sick that the husband believes the only option is to euthanize him so that he doesn’t have to suffer any longer.
  • Four Way Stop
    • A writer that gets dumped, a grifter that stumbles upon his doctor’s goodies, and a pimp named Alex that doesn’t like being called “Sugar”. It’s neo-noir as only Voodoo Studios can do it.
  • Armchair Weathermen
    • I’m legally obligated by the unwritten Voodoo Studios bylaws to ask you how much rain you got out at your place instead of telling you what this story is actually about.
